EGYPT

I’ve been to many countries. I’ve witnessed many things. Often times there are things that don’t sit right with me. False narratives and twisted histories. The winners of wars throughout history are often the ones telling the stories we hear about a place. Often times the truth in these stories are minimal. While visiting Egypt I enjoyed learning their history before Arab and European colonialism. I enjoyed meeting people who knew they were African and knew that the language they now speak was not their own. People that were proud of their true history. In the states you could never truly learn the debts of your ignorance. Propaganda poisons the minds of many throughout the world. Here are a few images from my most recent trip to Egypt.
